American magazine The Atlantic has named Manila as the ninth most dynamic city in the world. Istanbul (Turkey) ranked first, Shenzen (China) second, and Lima (Peru) third, according to TheAtlantic.com.

Bibingka
Bibingka is a rice cake made from galapong (glutinous rice soaked then ground in water to form either a batter or a dough), baked in a special clay pot, lined with a piece of banana leaf, with live coals on top and underneath. It is topped with slices of kesong puti (white cheese) and salted duck eggs. The newly-cooked bibingka is topped with butter and then served with niyog (grated coconut).
This dish, along with puto bumbong, is very popular among Filipinos during the nine day Simbang Gabi novena masses before Christmas.

The Game has Changed - Daft Punk
Since the fantastic trailer for Tron Legacy came out, I’ve been looking for the music that was used in it. I was combing through threads where they were [non]confirming that the track was a preview of Daft Punk’s music for the movie. After that, I kinda lost interest.
Today, I finally got to download the complete soundtrack and when this track played, I almost squealed like a rabid fanboy.
This post is for you too, Jay. Because I know you want to see the film already. I hope we don’t get disappointed.
